The first thing I noticed about Chuggington when he was born was how substantial and sturdy he felt. He felt like a brick when he was a little pup. As he grew, he developed the cutest head, great bone and coat (which happens to be a pretty shade of fox red), and nice, balanced conformation. All those things are important, but those things are not what caused me to decide to keep him. He is no doubt pretty to look at, but as he grew up, his sweet, mellow, loving, quirky personality became the most endearing part about him by far! He is so easy to have around, incredibly innocent, kind, biddable, silly, and just lives to please. He is 95 lbs but he will roll over on his back and lay there with his eyes closed while I trim his nails (we hypothesize that he thinks he's invisible when his eyes are closed ❤︎ ). When I say this dog does not have a mean bone in his body, I mean it wholeheartedly. We liken him Ferdinand the Bull, he'd rather wander around the yard and smell the flowers than partake in any naughtiness. It's what makes him Chuggy!
