"Murphy"

Murphy can be described as an "old soul". She is a gentle, quiet, and GOOD girl. She loves her humans and her "pack" more than anything. She is the type of dog who won't pester for attention, but loves to curl up close to you on the couch.  Like her mother Flare, she is a purposeful tail-wagger and has a very expressive face, so you know how she is feeling at all times. She is a smart cookie who catches on to training extremely quickly (she was fully house trained by 12 weeks--ringing bells to alert the humans to let her outside). 

Despite being a substantial girl, Murph is a natural athlete and retriever who can out-swim and out-run most of our other dogs. She sniffed out her first pheasant at the tender age of 4 months old and has plenty of natural retrieving drive. We love that she has the calm, sweet temperament that we aim for as well. We are very proud to have bred & raised this outstanding girl!
