Laramie is a carefree, merry little dog who has never met a person she didn't adore. Lam-Lam does lots of funny things, like laying on her back for snuggles, putting her paws up on us to "dance" when she's excited, and "splooting" on the hardwood floor when she's tired. She is a big goofball like her momma Bean, between the two of them we are never short on entertainment.
Laramie is healthy, beautiful, and adored. While she passed the majority of her health clearances with perfect results, there was one area that did not meet the strict standards we require for our breeding program. Because we are deeply committed to producing the healthiest and soundest dogs possible, we made the difficult decision not to include her in our breeding program. She now lives the very best life as a cherished family companion with Wes’s aunt/uncle and her boys just a town away, which means we’re lucky enough to see her often. She is spoiled, loved, and thriving exactly as she deserves! We keep Laramie's page up intentionally. Ethical breeding involves making very disappointing decisions, even when a dog is wonderful in every other way. We feel that sharing these stories is part of our commitment to transparency and to showing the reality behind responsible breeding. (And of course we would never tell her she didn’t make "the cut”. She is perfect exactly as she is and we are still so proud to be her first family. <3) |
