We are a small, intentionally limited breeding program and typically produce only one or two litters per year.

​How Our Placement Process Works
  • Throughout the year, we review applications and pre-approve families whose homes meet our standards and align with our values, and add their name & contact info to our "waiting list". 
    • ​Being on the "waiting list" means you will be considered for future litters; however it does not guarantee a puppy or a spot in a specific litter. 
    • It does not cost anything to be added to our waiting list. That being said, our list does not operate on a first come-first served basis. More details on how we select families for our puppies is included below. 
    • Sometimes it takes me a while to get through my emails as I receive many applications each week. (I am especially slow at replying during our busy seasons on the farm). 
  • ​​When a litter is planned, we go through our "waiting list" of pre-approved families and send out an email to confirm interest in that specific litter. Please reply with within a week of receiving that email if you want to be considered for a puppy in that litter. 
  • ​When the litter is born and we know what we will have available, we select a number of families who have expressed interest to receive a pup from that litter. Selections are based on lifestyle, goals, and overall fit for the type of puppies that we are expecting from that litter. At that time, the families who are selected will place a down payment on their puppy.
  • ​Individual matches are announced when the puppies are 7 weeks old. We place each puppy responsibly, considering lifestyle, energy level, temperament, physical traits, and the family’s goals. We do not allow buyers to pick their own puppy, as matching a puppy’s needs with the right home (rather than relying on impulse or appearance). 
  • ​​Puppies go to their forever homes between 8-9 weeks.

​We check in periodically with our waiting list families to confirm continued interest. Families who are inactive, have "passed" on  a litter multiple times, or no longer wish to participate will be removed from the list.

​We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse sale of a puppy to any individual for any reason, at any time, without obligation to provide a detailed explanation. In the event that a down payment has been made and we subsequently decide not to proceed with the placement, the full amount of the down payment will be refunded.
We strongly encourage families to consider multiple reputable breeders rather than relying solely on our program for a specific timeline.  This system allows us to keep our program manageable and ethical, maintain realistic expectations, focus our time and energy on raising each litter well, and make careful, unhurried placement decisions.  We truly appreciate your understanding and your interest in our dogs.​​
